I started my music journey at the age of nine, working with a Folksinger from Callahan FL named Mrs. Kate Carpenter. I was in her music videos, featured on her CDs and toured Florida with her at the age of eleven as a roadie. It was a wonderful experience and she inspired me to pursue music on my own.
I spent three years training with the Jacksonville Children's Chorus under the direction of Darren Dailey. The JCC affords its singers incredible opportunities. Our choir was blessed to sing with Amy Grant and Kristin Chenoweth as well as sing the national anthem for a Jacksonville Jags game and attend the Piccolo Spoletto Festival in Charleston (and that only highlights a tiny portion of experiences!). My time with the JCC was unforgettable and gave me a solid foundation for singing. Over the years I have attended various camps and workshops such as Camp Broadway, Emergence Worship Camp, Linda Davis' Performance Workshop, and Bill Whyte's songwriting workshop. I have also trained in voice and piano with Martha Trice Music and I've studied vocal technique with Lorna Greenwood. I studied vocal at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Sophomore year of high school. I currently take vocal lessons from Stacy Menton, a licensed speech pathologist based out of Mayo Clinic.
I am currently booking myself for gigs at restaurants all over Jacksonville. I recently began booking weddings, private parties, and other events as a solo act. I am almost finished writing the songs for my first ever EP, which will include my songs "Key West", "Married to the Blue", and "Cabana Boy". You can find me touring in Key West this November with the Parrot heads and radio A1A with my new music!
